The longest home study approval!
First, we live in Illinois. If you live in IL, enough said. If you don't, let me tell you, after my home study was APPROVED by our social worker, it went to the state of IL to get an approval letter. Because of all the changes, someone retired, someone quit, the replacement left, etc, my approved home study sat in an office for over 87 days. (Yes, I made MANY phone calls and sent emails, with no success). Governor Rauner then signed a bill that eliminated this step and we have a freed home study!!! We are back in the race to get my kiddos! I know it is God's timing, and I try to remind myself, but it is tough! Please pray that everything moves smoothly!

APPROVED HOMESTUDY!!!
APPROVED HOMESTUDY!!! On April 12, we received our approved home study to bring home the newest additions to our family. We are getting ready to do a couple of fundraisers, so watch for those soon! After getting a couple more pieces of paperwork, we are looking at traveling this summer. While we are waiting, we are working on Russian. Searching for God's plan
After bringing home Annabelle from China, we knew that this was what we were supposed to do. We found a beautiful sibling group, Trisha and Tyler, on Reeces Rainbow and wanted them to be part of our family. We committed to them on Jan. 21, 2015. We are still waiting on our IL home study, but we will keep you updated as soon as we hear! Please pray for all the orphans and the families that are coming to get them.
